“The stability of the internal environment (the milieu intérieur) is the condition for the free and independent life”. Professeur Claude Bernard  (Dr Claude Bernard is one of the recognized  fathers of modern medicine)

Happiness is the physiological result of the body’s natural state of homeostasis, what Claude Bernard called the “milieu intérieur”.  Most humans have lost their natural ability to reset their “milieu intérieur”. Once homeostasis is re-established, happiness follows. There are many physiological mechanisms that promote this the State of Happiness.

Holistically-based Happiness Medicine is the only Medical system that is consistent with a healthy long life. It  Must therefore be the New Golden Standard of Care for all Chronic Disease Challenges

“The art of medicine consists of amusing the patient while nature cures the disease”. Voltaire

As a starting point, H.M Institute is in agreement with the centrality of Voltaire’s twin-pronged argument invoked above. First, medical doctors first and foremost need to bestow upon their patients an abundance of happiness vibes and humor, as their basic role is less to cure the patient than to amuse him or her, as  the French 18th century Enlightenment philosophers like Voltaire recommended. (7)

Voltaire’s second postulate is based on the two millennia Hippcratic tradition of allowing Nature to  carry out its healing mechanisms. Traditional Naturopathy and Holistic Medicine are the only medical systems that fully allow this mechanisms to flower. These practitioners teach the requisite holistic techniques that favor this healing process. (8)

For Happiness Medicine, prescriptions  and recommendations are based on holistic techniques that promote not only self-healing, but also homeostasis and happiness. By definition, a happiness-based holistic technique is safe, efficient, cost-friendly and evolutionarily good for both the individual and the Community as a whole. (9) This signifies that with Holistic Medicine, populations become healther, live longer and become abundant, in conformity with the diktat of both Darwinism and Christianity. (10)

When chronic diseased patients fully embrace Holistic and Happiness medicine, there is usually no need for Pharmakia and conventional medicine. Drug prescription and surgery can be envisioned for those chronic diseased patients who dont believe in holistic and happiness medicine. On the other hand, in modern Societies, Pharmakia-based conventional medicine can be suited for emergency care. But only when other less invasive medical systems are unavailing. Biblical medicine’s prophets have harsh words against this type of medicine. (11)

(7). Thus, medical doctors need to go to comedy schools to get retrained, thanks to which their symptom alleviating tool boxes will have humor sketches, comedy stunts, new age technology, placebo inventions and the like to better captivate the patient’s spirit, thanks to which his or her symptoms will start subsiding. In this perspective, Darwin proved beyond any reasonable doubt that Life’s Natural Selection’s mechanism favors the conditions that lead to biological replicability. Whatever or whomever survives rugged competition does so in order to replicate, thus natural selection is engineered to favor sexual reproduction conditions.  In this perspective, the Bible’s Genesis validates this “Diktat”, in its command to procreate and multiply. (Genesis 9:7: “As for you, be fruitful and increase in number, multiply on the Earth and increase upon it” (The new American Standard Bible calles this diktat “the Covenant of the Rainbow. This Diktat is also confirmed in Genesis 1:28).  Darwin’s writings, like his Jewish collaborator Karl Marx’s writings are thus consistent with the reproductility principle, the essence of which is also in Genesis. Thus, with Darwinism, Marxism and Christianity, this diktat concerns most of Humanit

A while ago, the English-American “French” (1) revolutionary Tom Paine wrote that our country, our identify Nations should be “where there is no Liberty”. (2)  Hence his passion and sacrifices in many enlightenment and political battles, in England, the US and even France, where he almost lost his head. (3)

Paine’s belief can be associated to the philosophical prinipe of the notion “permanent revolution”, where prosperity and peace on Earth will come only when all of Humanity will be united, as once predicted Sri Aurobindo.

Ever since taught… Paine’ Belief is a nobel one, and one that would solve many political and econcomic problems

But the problem is that most people stay stuck in their hard wired “comfort zoned” and do little if anything significant to enhance their local and national community, let alone the international one.

Today, one of the major breakthroughs of medicine, the miccrobiome, shows us the way to promote not only genuine health and wellbeing, but also community development and trans-national harmony

H.M.Institute is also in unision with  Claude Bernard’s “milieu intérieur” equilibrium and its corollary, homeostasis, regarding the avoidance and resolution of most diseases. However, since Hippocrates, Bernard and Flemmings, there have been a lot of medical discoveries and innovations that need to be considered when addressing illnesses, some of which include the Science of the Microbiome, the Biology of Telomeres and stem cells, the Medicine of Circadian rythms, the Therapy of quality and moderate wine and herbs, thermal, energy and physical therapies, psycho-neuro-endocrino-immunology, regarding which the feel good neuropeptides, hormones and neurotransmitters all collaborate as a united “family” or “tribe” and via precise signaling molecules to both preserve and optimize human metabolism, resilience and evolutionary-based adaptability that meet both Darwin’s and the Bible’s sexual reproduction diktat. What is Happiness Medicine ?

Happiness Medicine is the English translation of the best medical intervention ever,  called “Joie de vivre” medicine (1). Joie de vivre is a Medical system that has excelled in France. After over 1600 years of experimenting with the best health-care systems, French scientists and philosophers unearthed one that the World health Organization characterized as the number One, out of 192 countries, of the international community.

”   ” (2)

Joie de Vivre medicine is  much more than the combined placebo and molecular effects of drugs or supplements. This type of medicine manifests as a “Joy of Living” that incorporates multiple dimensions, from the pleasure of food, to health vacation, existential awareness, romance, social progress, spiritual endeavor and common universal values, including Christianity. As France has been the seat of Christian values and Biblical medicine for over 1500 years. (3)

Given the results of Happiness Medicine, it is reasonable to call it the “next level” of safe, efficient and cost-friendly care. Happiness Medicine includes, but is not limited to the best of its closest allies, from Holistic medicine, to naturopathic care and more. When happiness medicine is practiced, the body can better process toxicity. This has been the case with many healthy supercentenarians, including Jeanne Calment who smoked cigareets until 119 years old and merely passed from “old age”  at 122 and a half, a little before she decided to abandon her Earthly “Joie de Vivre”. (4)

The Happiness Medicine Institutes’ scientists research these mechanisms and once actionable protocols are established, the Institute teaches them via coaching, writing, workshops or talks.

According to Hayflicks, 99 percent of human existence, the average longevity has been 18 years old.  today, in developed countries, more than 80% of the population today will survive past the age of 70. About 150 years ago, only 20% did. The natural laws of physics may dictate that most things must die. But that does not mean we cannot use nature’s templates to extend healthy human lifespan beyond 120 years.

Rapid results

In contrast to laboratory mice, the length of killifish telomeres, which average around 6,000-8,000 nucleotides, is similar to that of humans. As a result, Harel and his colleagues were able to quickly see the effect of a telomerase-disabling mutation in the fish. Interestingly, fish in which telomerase activity was disabled displayed a variety of traits that are similar to those seen in humans with a disorder called dyskeratosis congenita, which is also due to a mutation in telomerase.

“Very quickly we began to see an effect on rapidly dividing tissues such as the blood, gut and sperm,” said Harel. “The fish rapidly become sterile, their intestines began to atrophy and they made fewer types of blood cells than their peers.”

The researchers conclude that the killifish is currently the fastest way to study diseases of telomere shortening in vertebrates. They are hopeful that the other mutant strains will be equally useful in their lab and in other labs worldwide.

Oxytocin is an age-specific circulating hormone that is necessary for muscle maintenance and regeneration.

Abstract

The regenerative capacity of skeletal muscle declines with age. Previous studies suggest that this process can be reversed by exposure to young circulation; however, systemic age-specific factors responsible for this phenomenon are largely unknown. Here we report that oxytocin–a hormone best known for its role in lactation, parturition and social behaviours–is required for proper muscle tissue regeneration and homeostasis, and that plasma levels of oxytocin decline with age. Inhibition of oxytocin signalling in young animals reduces muscle regeneration, whereas systemic administration of oxytocin rapidly improves muscle regeneration by enhancing aged muscle stem cell activation/proliferation through activation of the MAPK/ERK signalling pathway. We further show that the genetic lack of oxytocin does not cause a developmental defect in muscle but instead leads to premature sarcopenia. Considering that oxytocin is an FDA-approved drug, this work reveals a potential novel and safe way to combat or prevent skeletal muscle ageing.

The “love molecule,” oxytocin, is the chemical foundation for trusting others. Activated by positive social interactions, it makes us care about others in tangible ways, and it motivates us to work together for a common purpose.

After a dozen years studying the role oxytocin plays in human behavior, I thought I’d share an answer to the question I am most often asked: How can I raise my levels? As the paperback version of The Moral Molecule hits the shelves, this seems an appropriate time to unveil my top 10 list.

But first, a short neuroscience digression: The effect of oxytocin, like other signaling chemicals in the brain, is more dependent on changes than on absolute levels. Oxytocin helps us respond appropriately to our social environment by changing its amounts in the brain second by second. So, rather than focus on oxytocin levels that are near zero, for most people without a positive social interaction, the better question is how can one increase their level of oxytocin when interacting with others and thereby increase empathyand compassion towards them.

Another neuroscience digression: Because oxytocin is so ancient (a precursor can be traced back at least 400 million years to fish), natural selection has found ways to utilize it in both the brain and the body. Unlike almost every other neurochemical we make, animal studies have shown that the change in oxytocin after a social interaction as measured in blood reflects changes in oxytocin in the brain. Thus, if an activity causes a spike in oxytocin as measured in the blood, a corresponding spike is likely occurring in the brain. It is brain oxytocin that is most responsible for effects on behavior, and blood oxytocin gives us a window into what is occurring in the brain.

The ways to raise oxytocin listed below are based on measuring changes in oxytocin in blood in humans. Many are from my lab, but some come from other sources. Variations in protocols and the moderate sample sizes for human studies inhibit comparing the reported average changes in oxytocin across published works. Instead, I’m simply listing the ways to raise oxytocin in order of my personal favorites.

10. Listen with your eyes. Instead of being glued to an electronic device, give the person with you your complete attention. Watch their face and listen to what he or she is telling you.

9. Give a gift. Our first human oxytocin studies showed that receiving gifts raised oxytocin. So why not make this a regular practice? The key is not to expect a gift in return, just surprise someone for no reason.

8. Share a meal. Eating moderately is calming and helps us bond with others. Including a glass of wine is fine, too. You can increase the effect by following #9 and making the meal you share a gift.

7. Meditate while focusing on others. My lab has found that a form of meditation called “metta,” in which one focuses on loving others, is better at fostering social connections than standard mindfulness meditation.

6. Soak in a hot tub. I love to do this with my kids. The warm temperature and time together offer the ability to connect with them. And we all look goofy when wet, making this even more fun.

5. Use social media. OK, you are doing this anyway, but you should know that 100% of the people I tested using social media had an increase in oxytocin. Just don’t forget to see your Facebook friends in person, too.

4. Ride a roller coaster or jump out of an airplane. Many activities that are moderately stressful and done with one or more other people raise oxytocin. My recent tandem skydive produced a greater than 200% oxytocin spike. Try being a single rider on a roller coaster and you’ll experience an immediate bond with the person next to you.

3. Pet a dog. This doesn’t always work unless the dog belongs to you, but if you identify as a “dog person,” any old dog will raise your oxytocin. The dog won’t complain, either. And once your oxytocin is up, you’ll connect better to the humans around you, too.

2. Use the “L” word. Tell those around you that you love them. Oxytocin is the love molecule so it is part of our evolved biology to love others (both “philia” and “eros”). You’ve got to put it out there to get it back. With friends, too, and maybe even at work.

1. Eight hugs a day. We have shown that touch not only raises oxytocin, but it reduces cardiovascular stress and can improve the immune system, too. Try telling people that you hug rather than shake hands and see what happens when you give others the gift of oxytocin.

Studies show that the more one releases oxytocin, the easier it becomes to do so. That has certainly been my experience in practicing these oxytocin-releasing activities. If you can do all 10, you’ll be an oxytocin master.

The “love hormone” does more than trigger labor and cement emotional ties between people. Oxytocin also helps repair damaged muscles, at least in mice.

Oxytocin stimulates muscle stem cells to divide when muscle is damaged, researchers report June 10 in Nature Communications.  Experiments with mice also showed that the hormone’s levels in the animals’ blood declines with age. Giving old mice shots of oxytocin restored their muscle-regeneration capabilities to match those of much younger rodents. But extra doses of the hormone did not boost muscle-building in young mice.

“This is not a performance-enhancing drug,” says study coauthor Irina Conboy, a stem cell scientist at the University of California, Berkeley.

The findings raise the possibility that oxytocin may stave off muscle atrophy in aging people.

Nutrients Boost Stem Cell Function

March 2017

By Caroline Meyers

Recent scientific findings indicate that aging is closely associated with a loss of the number and function of adult stem cells throughout the body.1-5

Researchers have concluded that protecting those essential stem cells could play an important role in slowing and partially reversing aging.

Three studies published last year demonstrate that several nutraceutical compounds are capable of boosting stem cell function.

These studies revealed that extracts from berries and green tea, the dipeptide carnosine, and vitamin D—have the ability to favorably alter gene expression, and are capable of exerting powerful regulatory effects on stem cells and their environment.

These findings should help to crystalize the importance of utilizing natural molecules as a means of slowing aging.

Nutraceuticals Rescue Aging Stem Cells

Aging is associated with the loss of adult stem cell function (see sidebar). This has prompted interest in ways of improving stem cell functionality in maturing individuals.6-8

It has been shown that connecting the circulation of an older animal with that of a younger one reduces the function of the younger animal’s muscle and brain stem cells and appears to accelerate aging.4,7 Components in the blood of the older animal interact with stem cells in the younger one, impairing their function.

Scientists at the James A. Haly Veterans Affair Hospital in Tampa tried to reverse that effect by treating older rats with a specific nutrient formulation, then observing the effects of the rats’ nutrient-rich blood on stem cells from other animals, both young and old.7

They fed young and aged rats either a standard diet or a nutrient-rich diet composed of a mixture of blueberry, green tea, vitamin D, and carnosine—all nutrients with known cell-protective effects—for 28 days. At the end of that period, the researchers collected blood serum from the older, supplemented rats and applied it to cultures of adult rat stem cells. One group of stem cells came from the memory-intensive brain area called the hippocampus, and the other from bone marrow, where blood cells and platelets are formed.

Serum from aged rats that were on the control diet had the expected effect on the cultured stem cells: their division rates slowed dramatically, producing fewer newstem cells. But serum from the supplemented aged rats did not cause those changes, and in fact produced results not different from those of serum obtained from young rats. This study demonstrated that targeted nutrient supplementation alone could rescue aging stem cells involved in both brain and blood system functions.

STEM CELLS AND AGING

Stem cells, unlike any other cells in the body, can self-renew and differentiate into many different kinds of cells.5

Early embryonic stem cells can differentiate into virtually any kind of cell, in any kind of tissue. Adults retain stem cells in all of their organs and tissues. Adult stem cells can still regenerate and differentiate, but usually only into mature cells in their particular tissue type.4,5

When tissue is damaged, tissue-specific stem cells leap into action, quickly forming into functional replacements for the damaged cells.4,5 In short, adult stem cells account for the healthy adult body’s ability to self-heal, and to retain its youthful vigor.

Recent studies now show that stem cell function declines with advancing age—falling victim to such threats as oxidative stress, inflammation, and DNA damage—and results in impaired ability of tissues and organs to repair themselves.1 In this way, aging itself is closely related to the accumulation of dysfunctional stem cells.1-5

Fortunately, one of the very causes of stem cell dysfunction can now be leveraged to prevent or reversesuch dysfunction. Regulation through favorable alterations in gene expression is considered a major means of establishing and maintaining normal stem cell activities.2,4 We can now provide to living stem cells substances that exert favorable changes.

A growing number of studies demonstrate that application of a number of molecules that support metabolic function, protect against oxidative stress, prevent inflammation, and protect DNA repair can enhance the numbers – and function – of aging stem cells.9,11,12

The studies discussed in this article demonstrate that many commonly-used nutraceuticals may in fact produce their age-decelerating, organ-protecting, and life-extending effects at least in part by protecting adult stem cells.

Hope for Multiple Sclerosis

The second important study recently published demonstrated the impact of vitamin D on brain stem cells in a mouse model of multiple sclerosis (MS). MS is an autoimmune disease that damages nerve cells by impairing their ability to conduct signals. While treatments can slow the disease, it is considered incurable.8

Researchers used a mouse model of MS to determine whether vitamin D treatment could improve nerve function by protecting neuronal stem cells and by promoting their functions. Amazingly, they found that vitamin D supplementation reversed the nerve cell damage created by MS.8 Furthermore, they found that the supplement promoted the proliferation of neuronal stem cells, which contributed directly to improved brain function, and to their apparent recovery from MS. This study offered additional insights into how vitamin D could directly contribute to alleviating a condition in which adult stem cell function is compromised.

Beneficial Epigenetic Changes

IMAGE TAG

The third important study also focused on stem cells in the brain and the impact of specific nutrients on brain function. Here, the researchers based their work on the observation that the decline in aging brain stem cells appears to be closely associated with increased levels of inflammatory signaling molecules, or cytokines.6

They supplemented rats with carnosine, blueberry, green tea, and vitamin D, the same group of nutrients previously proven to rescue aging stem cells. They found that supplemented animals had a large number of changes in the expression of genes concerned with a range of cellular functions.6 More specifically, they helped reduce proinflammatory cytokines, while increasing anti-inflammatory cytokines. The reduction in inflammation would explain the beneficial effects of the nutrients on stem cell function demonstrated in previous experiments.9

But the researchers dug deeper and made a remarkable discovery—the nutrient combination increased the production of genes that prompt progenitor cells (stem-like cells living in brain tissue) into becoming functioning adult neurons. In other words, it helped create healthy new brain cells.

This study powerfully demonstrates how targeted nutrients can favorably alter the environment faced by tissue stem cells in the brain, reducing the risk that they will develop into impaired, aged stem cells, and promoting their development instead into functioning adult brain cells. This is especially important for those at risk for neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. These diseases are known to be associated with declining rates of brain cell renewal, which we now recognize requires healthy stem cells.6,10

Together, these three recent studies strongly indicate that specific nutrients can produce tremendous effects on adult tissue stem cells, helping protect them against the destructive impact of environmental factors, and preserving their ability to naturally heal tissues and restore their youthful function.

Let’s now turn to a brief review of the stem cell-protecting properties of some other familiar nutrients.

Nutrients Promote Stem Cell Vigor

One large group of researchers has published extensively on their studies with a nutrient combination containing polyphenols from blueberry and green tea, as well as carnosine and vitamin D. Their work has shown that these nutrients promote the proliferation of healthy human adult stem cells, protect those cells from the destructive effects of oxidative stress, and produce improved cognitive and memory function in animals as a result of enhanced brain stem cell proliferation.9,11,12

Numerous other studies show that other common, readily-available nutritional supplements can also boost stem cell function in a meaningful way, to further slow stem cell-related aging. Let’s take a look at the highlights:

  • In one study, a supplement containing green tea, astragalus, goji berry extracts, ellagic acid, and vitamin D fermented with a probiotic Lactobacillus species, was given to human volunteers twice daily for 2 weeks. Within a day, and continuing for the rest of the study, researchers detected significant increases in circulating bone marrow stem cells. They believe this was caused by stimulation of the body’s natural repair mechanisms (stem cells) by the nutraceutical combination.13
  • Blueberry extracts are rich in polyphenols, which are highly protective molecules associated with a host of health benefits. A study in rats showed that supplementing animals in early life with a blueberry-enriched diet prevented bone loss (osteoporosis) at menopause.14 Closer examination of the protective effect revealed that the blueberry supplement stimulated bone-forming stem cells to mature into active bone-mineralizing cells. This action reduced the high post-menopausal rate of bone turnover that, in humans, results in easy fractures.14,15
  • Spirulina is a blue-green algae that is known for its anti-inflammatory properties. A recent study showed that spirulina could prevent inflammation-induced decreases in brain stem cell proliferation that accumulates with aging.16 This resulted in improved functioning of stem cell mitochondria, which improved energy utilization and reduced oxidative stress.

Summary

IMAGE TAG

Recent research has revealed the crucial role of adult stem cells in promoting healing and regeneration following damage. Over time, their loss of function deprives our tissues of their youthful ability to recover from damage and regenerate themselves. This contributes to the loss of function that we see as aging.

The good news is that rejuvenating those adult stem cells can lead to a partial reversal of aging in our tissues. Even better, three landmark studies have shown us that rejuvenation of adult tissue stem cells is within our reach.

Supplementation with a variety of nutrients has been shown to restore the healing and regenerative capacities of aging adult stem cells, and results in the restoration of youthful function to the tissues where those stem cells reside.

The pace of scientific discovery in the nutrients realm continues to accelerate, opening the real possibility that many other nutraceuticals will be found to exert their health-promoting effects at least in part by stimulating stem cell recovery.

A citizen’s arrest is an arrest made by a person who is not acting as a sworn law-enforcement official. In common law jurisdictions, the practice dates back to medieval England and the English common law, in which sheriffs encouraged ordinary citizens to help apprehend law breakers. In the United States a private person may arrest another, without a warrant, for a crime occurring in their presence. For which crimes this is permitted may vary state by state, depending on local law. Most states have codified the common law rule that a warrantless arrest may be made by a private person for a felony, misdemeanor or “breach of peace”. (Daily, JD, James. “Superheroes and Citizen’s Arrest”. Law and the Multiverse) A breach of peace covers a multitude of violations in which the Supreme Court has even included a misdemeanor seatbelt violation punishable only by a fine. The term historically included theft, “nightwalking”, prostitution and playing card and dice games. (“Atwater v. Lago Vista ( No. 99-1408 )”. Supreme Court of the United State.

In light of the past, it is thus reasonable to assume that today’s narcissitstic and predatory based mecantile-militarist modern societies will not last. Although telomerase is not normally active in most cells of an adult animal, it does work to maintain telomere length in rapidly dividing cells such as male germ cells, which make sperm, as well as tissues with high turnover such as blood and gut. In its absence, the telomeres of those cells shrink rapidly as they repeatedly divid

Current animal models of aging, such as the mouse, have telomeres that are much longer than humans — about 50,000-100,000 nucleotides — making it difficult to compare with humans.”

Abstract

Telomere extension has been proposed as a means to improve cell culture and tissue engineering and to treat disease. However, telomere extension by nonviral, nonintegrating methods remains inefficient. Here we report that delivery of modified mRNA encoding TERT to human fibroblasts and myoblasts increases telomerase activity transiently (24-48 h) and rapidly extends telomeres, after which telomeres resume shortening. Three successive transfections over a 4 d period extended telomeres up to 0.9 kb in a cell type-specific manner in fibroblasts and myoblasts and conferred an additional 28 ± 1.5 and 3.4 ± 0.4 population doublings (PDs), respectively. Proliferative capacity increased in a dose-dependent manner. The second and third transfections had less effect on proliferative capacity than the first, revealing a refractory period. However, the refractory period was transient as a later fourth transfection increased fibroblast proliferative capacity by an additional 15.2 ± 1.1 PDs, similar to the first transfection. Overall, these treatments led to an increase in absolute cell number of more than 10(12)-fold. Notably, unlike immortalized cells, all treated cell populations eventually stopped increasing in number and expressed senescence markers to the same extent as untreated cells. This rapid method of extending telomeres and increasing cell proliferative capacity without risk of insertional mutagenesis should have broad utility in disease modeling, drug screening, and regenerative medicine.

(1). Diktat is defined as an order or decree imposed by a ruler or a Force. Thus, with Darwinism, Marxism and Christianity, this diktat concerns most of Humanity.
(2). Just one out of many examples that supports this piece of allegation. At Harvard University’s medical school, an experiment was performed between a group of ladies who practiced LKM (loving kindness meditation) versus another group of similarly situated ladies who did not. The ladies who practiced LKM had significantly longer telomeres. After reviewing the studies methodology, the Institute has ascertained it as flawless.  Telomeres are biomarkers not only for healthy living, but also for optimal longevity, that which can extend the Hayflick clock from 50 cell divisions to 70 or more cyclical division, which means that there is much more Life Span and vitality within these cells and therefore, with the person who carries these cells.
(3). Multiple published peer reviewed studies supports this claim. Among others, the Transcendantal Meditation University in Iowa has published proof that in those cities where there is a certain percentage of meditators who practice meditation regularly, usually at least 4 to 5 percent of the city population, there have  also been a significant decrease of violence, accidents and diseases. (    ).  Another study showed that where there is one super-happy individual who radiates powerful and special frequencis “tous azimuths”,  in what Thaillard de Chardin called “la noosphère”, the human collective behavior with a measurable distance from that “awakened” individual behaves in a more peaceful and disease-free manner (pp ). These “field frequencies” can also explain why some countries  and epoques are more prone to violence and diseases than others. These then are a few of Happiness Medicine’s effects. There are many more.

See his Bio. By refusing to be married, via the State’s approved medical MD license, to a dysfunctional medical system, Christian not only can’t be regulated in his teachings and recommendations, but he is showing that he  is not supporting or legitimizing an allopathic medical system which Christian and other health professions consider to be both outdated, unsafe, inefficient, too costly and corrupt, in most (not all) of its branches. In Europe, there are even laws against hate mongering expression. But not in the US. There is even a U.S. Supreme Court ruling that allows misrepresentation (lying) in political campaigns.

(9). The American conventional medical system is based on a fee per service system, which means that the more complications and the less health there is,  the more cash flow is generated. And because medical doctors’ malpractice insurance system is one of the toughest, fewer than 5 percent of medically damaged patients get to have their day in court.

Just like with what occurred with the tobacco industry’s lords.  Knowing that a drug like Vioxx will kill tens of thousands of patients and allowing this prescription drug to be marketed nonetheless establishes the criminal requirement of “intent.
